Whenever we put out a recording, we know that if we are going to have anyone besides those who come to our events, hear it, buy it and be ministered to by it, we're going to need to try to get it on the airplay. It's a rather tedious and expensive process as we have to make a new recording of just one of the songs (called a single) and mail it out to hundreds of stations across the country and pay a radio promoter whose job is to promote that song to the individuals who pick the songs at each station across the country. Our hopes are that that station will actually listen to the song, like it and play it. When we do that, we're up against hundreds of other groups who are trying to do the same thing and compete for the same airwaves. The difference is that among those groups are names like Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day and they are supported by corporations like Sony, EMI etc. and have huge budgets behind their recordings and marketing companies. We have none of that. So with all that in mind, we are so excited to announce that our first single off of our latest CD "With One Voice", called "To You", as of this writing has been #1 on the CCRB Praise and Worship Charts for 6 weeks and has been in the top 10 for over 13 weeks! That's been very encouraging for us to see. The CCRB Praise and Worship Charts still don't represent a huge amount of stations and we'd like to breakthrough on a lot more, but we are very excited to see such a positive response from so many stations around the country.
